Bacchus Bistro - Réserver une table

My husnund i were looking forward to have a nice evening out with dinner.We choose Bacchus reading your reviews.Dinning room is spotlesly clean, beautiful view, pleasant server.Disapointment was in dinner.We order garlic soup, steak and scaloped potatoes.We had reservation for Saturday May 20th 2017. At 6:15.Soup was not hot enough and very heavy on cream.Secong couse, steak was medium as we ordered, floating on fatty gravy on plate , meat was chewy, we could only taste salt sprincled on the top, could only eat a 1/4 of it,Try to spoon some potatoes on plate, again potatoes were floating in grease.I was sick at home , my stomac was hurting for hours.The kitchen crew that night had some thing...

I had eaten here several times for lunch but not fir dinner. As it was a gorgeous evening, we elected to dine outdoors. What a great view of the vineyards. It was rather noisy as there was a large party seated next to us.The server was very attentive. The food was delicious and was reasonably priced when converted to American dollars. We tried the local restaurant merlot and cab and found both to be acceptable. Several people in our group had a nutty ale that they liked. The food including dessert was well received by everyone in our group. We will dine here again.
