We were disappointed in our experience at Baciâs during this visit. We had enjoyed Baciâs in the past and wanted to choose a restaurant downtown with our party of 9 for a 70th birthday celebration. This time several entrees clam linguini, chicken piccata and lobster ravioli with prawns were extremely salty and the prawns were over cooked and chewy. The lobster ravioli looked like they were cooked out of a package from Costco. The sea bass and calamari dishes were good. The noise level inside the restaurant made it extremely difficult to hear people at our own table. The servers were not particularly helpful or friendly and we had to find a waiter to ask for water refills many times. No birthday dessert was offered and the server removed the itemized bill that had the automatic 20 gratuity on it when he brought back the charge slip that only had the total and a blank tip line. If we had not noticed that the gratuity had already been included in the total, we would have double tipped the server. The highlight of our evening was the sour dough bread.
