First visit. Did this place happen a thousand times. We decided to try. I'm glad we did it. To the decor, nothing special. But still nice. We ordered two appetizers. The shrimps and the Cherizo. I wasn't crazy about the shrimps. All the others enjoyed it. The Cherizo was very good. Then the main course came. Everybody comes with 2 pages. Your options are vegetables, rice, beans or fries. We chose all vegetables and rice. First chicken and rice. Chicken was so moist and tasteful. You have an option of half or full. I'm telling you now, even half is a lot of food. Second, a chicken sandwich. Wasn't bad, but not really everything you would order again. 3., the backyard steak. This plate was hug...
I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes after they opened hoping to get some barbecue, but unfortunately had to wait an additional 20 minutes as they weren't ready yet. I ordered the BBQ chicken and ribs combo and was pleased with the delicious and plentiful meat. I chose the double vegetables option which consisted of a mix of broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini that were fresh and cooked perfectly. My only complaint was that the steamed vegetables had too much garlic for my liking, as I am sensitive to it. Next time, I will make sure to request that they leave out the garlic on the vegetables.
Been to this place several times over the last 10 years. I enjoy the whole trays loaded with food. Whole chicken is always juicy and loaded with flavor. Rice was a little soggy but I had picked them up later then expected so the rice and fries were not how they normally come. The franchase chicken is better had at other places. If you want some good chicken that's not fried then this is your spot. Quick service when you order and prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get in a whole tray.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars for its price/performance ratio. While it may not be a fancy or sophisticated BBQ establishment, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Unlike typical American BBQ places that serve sweet, sugary, fatty dishes, this restaurant focuses on simple BBQ flavors enhanced with salt and herbs. The fries and rice are both excellent as well.

We celebrated my parents' anniversary at this restaurant with family and friends. The service was excellent for a group of 17 people. The two servers were attentive and ensured that everyone was well taken care of. The food was delicious and offered generous portions at a reasonable price. We all had a fantastic time.
Unfortunately, this is the second time that the Rotisserie chicken was very dry. However, the chicken, shrimp chorizo picadinho was very good. The slices of fried potatoes vegetables, and rice also excellent. I wish they would bring back the olive garlic.
Ordered Via Door Dash. Never sent an item, called to ask about the missing item and they said they forgot to put it in the bag. Would not go the extra .9 miles to deliver the order.
Hands down one of my favorite Portuguese spots! Codfish bites appetizer is tasty and melts in your mouth! Love the shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and fries. I can't get enough!
