Zum Geburtstag meiner Partnerin sind wir dort zum wiederholten Male essen gegangen.Bewusst hat meine Partnerin dieses Lokal gewählt weil es sich durch eine sehr gute Fischküche auszeichnet.Das Restaurant steht optimal am See und hat eine Terrasse welche im Sommer gut besucht ist, das Restaurant ich nicht sehr gross aber, bietet aber genug Platz auch für eine grössere Gruppe mit mehr als 10-12 Personen.Es ist ein Familienbetrieb und bisher haben wir im Service nur eine Person bemerkt, die Wirtin/ Frau des Chefs und es könnte vorkommen das man unter Umständen etwas warten müsste, war aber bei uns jedoch nicht der Fall. This beautiful restaurant is located about 200m from the railway station Schmerikon at Obersee. Surprisingly enough you can reach this place in less than one hour by train from Zurich Central. From Schmerikon there are two ships (I think one at 12:00 and another one at around 15:00) that go as far as Zurich and there are trains every 30 minutes to get back to Zurich via rapperswil. In our case, we first had a 14 km walk from Rapperswil along side the lake Obersee to Schmerikon (Obersee-Uferweg). It took about 3 hours and it was really lovely. the great location of this restaurant made us go in there, quite spontaneously, sitting on there lovely terrace directly over the lake with a view over to the mountains and the little villages on the other side... so beautifulwe had lunch, but it had been such a busy day for them , that service and kitchen were not coping - all friendly and really trying there best, so we were relaxed and were waiting to place the order, to get the drinks, to get the food, to get the table cleaned and get the bill.happensbut unfortunately the food was not too well, pity because if that would have been alright i would not have rated as a "poor" restaurant.... the fish was overdone, hard, the greens and the sa...
Ich war das erste Mal da, Zufall. Das Wetter war eher kühl, daher wenige Gäste, ich genoss den freundlichen und nicht-gestressten Service. Das Fischgericht (zweimal Felchen, einmal Meunière, einmal gebacken) war hervorragend, so gut wie im Adler in Ermatingen TG oder im Trois Poissons in Lüscherz BE. Ich will wieder hin. Und wieder werde ich mir einen Tag auswählen, an dem nicht so viele Leute unterwegs sind. Das lohnt sich immer. Tipp: Mit einer Obersee-Rundfahrt ab Rapperswil kombinieren.
Heute waren wir im Bad am See. Nach 20 Minuten mussten wir gehen weil keine Bedienung uns ueberhaupt zur Kenntniss genommen hatte. Wir wurden weder begruesst, noch bekamen wir eine Speisekarte. Dabei war das Restaurant fast leer. Als ich die offensichtliche Cheffin darauf ansprach sagte sie immer nur ein Wort "ja". So ein arrogantes, verbohrtes Wesen sollte niemals in der Gastronomie arbeiten.
Wir kennen das Lokal seit vielen Jahren und kommen immer wieder. Die Gastfreundschaft, das vorzügliche Essen und die traumhafte Lage schätzen wir sehr. Wir hatten die kleine Portion Fischnusperli bestellt, die grosszügig bemessen war, dazu Gemüse, das frisch und lieblich angerichtet war. Auch die obligaten Apfelküchlein schmeckten wunderbar.
Nous nous sommes arrêtés à l'improviste dans ce modeste restaurant au bord du lac. Carte spécialisée dans le poisson d'eau douce, servi sur la terrasse avec une belle vue sur le lac. Accueil très chaleureux par la patronne (le patron est en cuisine), très bien mangé. Service un peu lent peut-être, donc il faut avoir le temps.
Abbiamo fatto una lunga passeggiata lungo il bellissimo lago che costeggia scmerikon..accaldati io e la mia compagna ci siamo seduti in questo accogliente posto ..abbiamo bevuto caffè e birra..personale gentilissimo..ma il punto davvero forte è la location lo consiglio vivamente posto romantico.
