my partner julie and I stayed at this wonderful place for a weekend in the april 2022 and could not have chosen better, because it is old school English in its most beautiful, all from the ambiente, decor, eat and service. the host, paul karen, are friends as soon as they go through the door. we will definitely return and highly recommend.
We didn't stay, only popped in for a quick bite to eat. It was busy indoors, so sat in the garden. Staff where friendly and helpful. Nice drinks and food came out quickly and was piping hot. Cake was nice to. Garden is definitely dog friendly, not sure about inside but did see a Collie running back and forth.
welcome. absolutely everything was perfect. spotless, warm, welcoming, amazing nights sleep and the breakfast and cake are just the best. karen paul are the perfect host. a nice email before the arrival for recommendations for dinner before location. would be highly recommended and looking forward to return.
