I have grown up in Westfield and lived here for over 20 years used to go here frequently on the weekends and used to be our go to spot for bagel. The quality of the food has definitely gone down hill. These bagels used to be made with a lot of love. Now, there is barely enough cream cheese on the bagel, missed the salt and pepper in my order. Also, the onion to cream cheese to tomato ratio is so off piled with onions which is just not necessary this early in the morning. Overall, mediocre breakfast at best. Would not recommend.
The bagels were fresh and adequate. The whitefish salad while excellent months ago was off on Sunday. It's been sometime since we had the whitefish salad and friends were kind enough to bring me some on their visit. The whitefish salad used to seem homemade with nice pieces of celery and hardly any processing. This time there was celery but it was off. The whitefish was full of oil or mayonaisse and not as homemade like as it used to be. We were Disappointed. Their crumb cakes are delicious!
I have been coming here for years. Probably my most go to bagel spot near my job. Prices are reasonable, bagels are good. The guys behind the grill you always see them hustling especially around lunchtime and breakfast rush. They make several other things from sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. I especially like the tuna on an everything bagel with lettuce. So if you're in the area stop in and give them a try you'll see a lot of locals hanging out grabbing a bite.
The staff is beyond rude, first time here. I approached the cashier to place an order lady said other side so I went over to other cashier, then found out you have to place the order in between the cashiers, chubby guy said see the sign? Order here . The sign is on the ceiling...news flash not everyone is staring at the ceiling...chubby guy who took order was super rude. Buh Bye Bagel Chateau. Tip place the order sign in between the cashiers at eye level genius.

Purchased 3 cinnamon raisins $7.45, I got home opened the bag. I got 3 small and deformed bagels. That I cannot cut these bagels tough tough as a rock. Please DO NOT SELL OLD BAGELS. GOOD BYE!
It's so difficult to find a bagel shop open after 1pm. I stumbled upon this place after I got a bagel craving in the late afternoon. The food is consistent and delicious.
Okay, I go there and order bagels; no sandwiches, no salads, etc. The bagels I order are fresh and tasty. The staff is polite to me. No complaints!
Overpriced! Prices went up more than 200% In comparison to 2020/2021. I am not coming back to bagel chateau in Westfield. Unreasonable prices.

For a $16 sandwich there was barely any lox. Two paper thin slices, that's it. Barely any cc either for that matter. Not worth the spend
