My wife and I happen to walk by this place and decided to check it out. It was late in the day so we were the only people, but the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had breakfast for dinner! Also- we want for a second time and I had theMexican dishes and they were actually delicious! A hidden gem of a place.
I absolutely adore this charming diner. They offer amazing breakfast specialties for both weekdays and weekends. I highly recommend trying their bagel sandwich—it's delicious! The coffee is great, the portions are generous, and the waitress is incredibly friendly. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Highland Park.
1st visit seated immediately. Nice, neighborhood diner. It's not a cafe but it's much cozier than larger, chain diner restaurants. We ordered the Healthy omelette with fruit, kids' silver dollar pancakes and Chicken BLT sandwich. The fries that came with the sandwich was delicious! Great service!
I had an omelette that came with home fries and toast as well as a orange juice, I felt satisfied with my meal as well as the portion. I had a wonderful lunch and chose from the Mexican menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional potato leek soup, which wasn't prepared in the traditional French way. It was genuinely excellent. The portions are quite generous, so sharing would definitely be a wise choice.

Very good breakfast/lunch spot in Highland Park. Good food, and service. Excellent coffee. Counter seating available. Parking is difficult on the street. This place gets busy during peak hours and is short staffed.
