I am assuming people giving this place a good review are not American or do not know what a bagel is supposed to taste like. I was so happy to see there was a place close by that sold bagels!! So of course I to have enough for family and everything.. But oh my disappointment when I went to try one... Its just a piece of normal bread baked in the shape of a bagel... Even my husband was so disappointed, he didn't want to finish his.. For the price, It was horribly disappointing.... IF YOU ARE HOPING FOR BAGELS, DO NOT GO THERE! IF YOU JUST WANT A NORMAL SANDWICH W NORMAL BREAD, THEN OK. JUST DO NOT HOPE FOR BAGELS.
Since a recent réorganisation: The Bagels are all pre-made and wait for the guests in an open refirgarator. I had mine and it was really really cold and tasteless. Also, the only vegam Bagel did not change once in 3 years. It is with avocado, thus ver climate unfriendly dish. Moreover, since the refurbishment, the place is not nice to sit in any more. The only Vegam Bagel did not even change in 3 years. It is with avocado, so against climate unfriendly dish. In addition, as the renovation, the place is not nice to sit in more. No vegan desert. the place is nice, accueil... well, the ladies were a bit stressed (even if empty local and Sat. at not very flexible to offer a hot drink with our bagel . The sandwiches are rather small for and the capuccino was extremely bitter...(here they don't know Assugrin .. for the diabetics). If you aren't very exigent...it will be ok. we wanted to have something sweet but there were only some rather dry cookies with flies around...
Having lived in New York for years our usual breakfast would be a bagel smothered with cream cheese. Now of course that’s on the unhealthy side, so I wasn’t expecting anything like that, but come on, I ordered the tuna bagel, and the lady...smeared a stingy thin layer of it with a spatula — gosh, and I told her I was from New York and was eager to try it. Oh it broke my heart!
I was staying at a nearby Ibis Hotel for days and visited this bagel store times. It was outstanding. Fresh, great condiments and ingredients. Phenomenal customer service as well as speaking English. Great value and nutritionally balanced as opposed to eating at the...McDonald's in the same complex. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Très bons bagels, personnel très gentil, accueillants, produits frais...Leur succès amène pas mal de monde le midi, mais ça en vaut la peine !!
