"Went here for the first time with one of my new roommates. Everything was great, except the lemonade was so pumped full syrup, it was un-drinkable. They also forgot to make our chips and guac, so it was comped by our server. The coconut shrimp and pineapple bowl were excellent!"

The restaurant is a bit small compared to other locations and hostess stand personnel were not paying attention to people coming in. We were acknowledged and then sent to not the best spot but it worked. We ordered the ultimate margaritas (good taste), the churrasco and the salmon salad. I was told the churrasco was very good, cooked well and both sides (beans and salad) tasted good. The salmon salad was okay, since I could tell the salad was not very fresh and the beans tasted undercooked. I left those on the plate and decided to make the most of what was edible. Carlos (Los) our server was friendly, attentive and made our dining experience at this restaurant better. We may or may not come...
The service was so much slow. Our server was very nice though. The bread that came out with her appetizer was frozen in the middle. We requested another loaf and the second one still was quite cold in the middle. She took it back and he did it for the third time. Our appetizer came out basically the same time as our main dish so that was irritating. It was not that busy in the restaurant so it seemed like the kitchen was off. Our food was tasty after the bread situation was resolved. They did end up taking the appetizer off of our bill due to this situation so there was a positive resolution.
The only thing besides cocktails that is consistently good are the yucca sticks. They are delicious and a must have appetizer. Most of the dishes I order usually miss the mark a little bit. Not bad but not exceptional good either. Every server/staff is always very nice and accommodating which I appreciate. It's my friend's favorite restaurant so we're here regularly, but I never had the urge to enjoy a meal at Bahama Breeze with anyone else.
The food and portion sizes were great. The drinks were good too. I found it a bit pricier for traditional food. Also, I encountered an issue with not being able to order an appetizer because I am allergic to shrimp, and they fry all fried food in the same oil. I recommend that the cooks make accommodations for those with shellfish allergies. Overall, I had average experience.
