Service was good but the meal was shocking. Prawn cocktail certainly wasn't restaurant standard. My steak didn't come as requested and after it had come back from the kitchen it still wasn't cooked the way I had asked for it to be in the first place. My husbands steak wasn't cooked how he had asked it to be either but he didn't ask for it to be taken back. I never ate much of the steak but they still charged me for it, very poor customer service. Obviously anyone can claim to be a chef these days.
Went for a meal and was quite disappointed. We visit here now and again and the service and staff is always very good. I had scampi but it was more like a processed mousse that was inside the breadcrumbs than an actual scampi. My wife's food was a bit burnt and welded to the dish. It was mostly edible but not restaurant standard.
Strong menu backed up by some seriously good food. The Cullen Skink was outstanding, the fish was fresh and flavoursome, and the seafood risotto was delightful. Even something as simple as the Ardennes pate starter was served wiuth a professional flourish.

We went from hotel downstairs to try local diner down there. I ordered baked mushrooms for starter excellent choice. Mains chicken Gorgonzola and my wife Milanese booth great and best part was homemade apple crumble yummy
what a change with food quality after last time. Excellent presentation, rich portions and very testy. service also friendly with very high standards. Definitely you will see me more often
We were dining on Monday.I had special pasta and calamari.It was best calamari I have ever had.Service really friendly and professional. Cannot fault in anyway.
Food was really nice for this price. Just sheer use one herbs for everything, what I think is not tasty. Staff excellent, really polite and nice.

Had the misfortune of having a meal here recently, very poor standard of food. Will not be going back!
