Food is really good but sadly, service at the closest to me Dublin/Tassajara branch has been continuously dismal and most of the time short, rude and uncaring, despite plenty of people behind the counter (so gimme a break with the Covid excuse). Advance scheduled online orders seem pointless, as staff can 't figure out how to deal with them. 4 times in a row now, my order was not ready (3 out of 4 times not even started on) when I got there. After the first couple of visits, I kept coming in between 5 10 mins later than scheduled, thinking this would allow them more time to get it ready... Nope, all I got was the now familiar confused look at the word online order followed by staff scramblin...
Update: 8.7.22 Family went in for late lunch around 3pm. Soda fountain machine had more out of order signs than working dispensers. Felt badly for the employees as one young man was handling the entire front end while a young woman was handling theentire cook line. Overheard a customer speaking to the employee, bidding him a farewell. Turns out this Baja Fresh is closingpermanently tomorrow, August 8, 2022! No idea if another owner will come in and take this location over, but it seemed unlikelyfrom the conversation. Quite possible an entirely different restaurant will take the soon to be vacated space, but only timewill tell. This was really sad news as we have been coming to this location...

It was nice to finally have Baja Fresh back in my area after many years, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The man working behind the counter was extremely rude and impatient. After just a few minutes, my boyfriend and I exchanged looks and decided to leave because the negative vibe made us feel unwelcome. We walked in and said hello but didn’t get a greeting back. The guy behind the counter kept mumbling to the cook and staring at us while we waited to order. The customer service was terrible! He was fiddling with paper on the counter the whole time and kept asking, "Is that all?" after just one order, even though there were five of us. When we asked for salsa, he only gave us four. Every time customers came in, he rolled his eyes. We ate in today but won’t be coming back. If we had known the service would be like this, we would have either ordered to go or just left. I love the food here, but poor service like this can ruin any business, no matter how good the food is.
The fish taco and shrimp taco were really good. They gave me a side of mango salsa and it was tasty too. I also order churros but I wasn't satisfied, they were thicker and did not tasted fresh. I enjoyed the churros from Pollo Loco better, because they are slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and well cook in the inside. My husband had the fajitas with cárnitas and he enjoyed it. I liked all the food expect for the churros.
We stopped by for a simple lunch in Dublin. Salads, chip and guacamole, and a couple of tacos. Nothing exciting about the food. We did not finished our food so naturally we asked for a to go box. The person at the counter did not have a box or anyway of packing our food to go. Even though there was clearly boxes and bags staged around the kitchen and counter. Poorservice.
FANTASTIC SERVICE! Maria, the manager, was outstanding—friendly, helpful, courteous, and very knowledgeable. My Mexicano burrito with carnitas and shrimp was one of the best I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was incredibly clean, with well-stocked and spotless bathrooms. I will definitely eat here again when I’m in Livermore.

FANTASTIC SERVICE, Maria the Manager was EXCELLENT!! Maria, is Pleasant, Helpful, Courteous Knowledgeable. My Mexicano burrito with Carnitas Shrimp was One of The BEST Burritos of any Mexican Restaurant ???????? The place was incredibly Clean bathrooms well stocked Super Clean! I will Definitely eat here again when We are in Livermore.
Great size but my container for steak fajita wasn't close right so food is all over the bag. Steak is good but cold. My toltia is dry on edge.
