Yum quick and delicious. I love that the tacos are sold individually, especially for lunch. Between the chips and salsa, beans and rice, and then tacos, it's great to be able to get just one or two, which is what I did. Great location, just a block away from the main strip if you're looking for something a little more quiet. The main strip sounds like battle of the bands all day and all night with every venue offering live music. All of the bands are very talented and sound great, but sometimes you need a little less volume, and Bakersfield offers just that with reasonable prices, great food, and fantastic service. Such a fun place! The food was pretty good. The elote was very spicy. Cheap shots of the day which was tequila. The pineapple margarita pitcher was delicious. Very noisy when the party buses passed by. Difficult to have a conversation. Update: July 2024 Sat at the bar this time on a Sunday evening. The chicken Caesar salad and tacos were really good. We ordered a pitcher of the rosé margs. Food was great but the servers at the bar basically dropped our food off and then never followed up.
Wow! Just happened upon this place by accident! Sure glad we did!!! Tacos were exceptional, fresh guacamole was on POINT, but let's not forget the DELISH pitcher of freshly made margaritas!!! Our server Clay was the epitome of courteous, knowledgeable, personable, and described in detail menu favorites that represents Excellent Service in the restaurant industry! We'll for sure be visiting Bakersfield Nashville for tasty Tacos, Tequila, and Whiskey next time we are in town!!!
I visited with 2 friends on a weekday around 6pm before a show at the Symphony. There were standing only tables and bar seating only due to so many reservations. We were able to sit at the bar and really enjoyed the experience! It was very hot inside, but mostly because of the Tennessee heat outside plus crowds going in and out. The Dolly salad was 10/10 and good margaritas too!

Started with app order of chips with queso dip. Very good. Super cheesy with all the melted cheese on top. Our group of four ordered 2 tacos each they were all served on one pizza tray. Small in size, but very tasty. Recommend the shrimp carnitas tacos. Strawberry, lemon-lime mocktail served with a generous mint spring also complimented the meal refreshing.
This is a fantastic spot for quick bites or drinks, allowing you to dodge the hustle and bustle of Broadway. I sampled their tacos; while they may not be traditional, they were incredibly tasty!
Worst tacos, worst queso, worst rice and beans. You would think a place with Tacos and Tequila in the name would have good eats... drinks were good... food ...hard pass.
This place has a very experienced restauranteur. They have a very good but limited menu, good drinks, great service. They really have it down.

Food was no seasoning and they had a racist movie on. The most white Mexican food ever.
What a surprise. Will be suggesting it to everyone that goes to Nashville for a trip!
