No one explained to us how it works about running a bar tab etc... the food itself was Ok... Went here for the first time last week... was in the smoking area and a young girl rudely interrupted our conversation (couldn't remember what she asked, although she looked frustrated), then rolled her eyes and literally slammed the door to go inside... Another worker asked a girl she was serving 'you got money for these drinks?' Seems like a bit of a stupid question when she's holding cash in her hand... that lady didn't seem happy about her question and rightly so... Walked in the bathrooms to find somebody power chucked all over the toilet and on the wall... that doesn't bother me because it's not their fault, but it took a while for them to attend to the problem. Filty chef grabbing food with barehand, wiping his hands on the side of his clothes then he touched the papers, mobile phone and back to touching food again, i’m sure this is not the proper way he’s been taught to get his certificate to be...a chef. I talked to the restaurant manager, she apologised but she was also trying to defend the chef, she said the chef was handling all the touchable food and using hand sanitizer??? not that i saw! there was no sanitizer or not even wearing disposable gloves, he was touching everything from food, papers, his clothes and mobile phone then food again. i lost my appetite to eat there so i asked for refund.
This restaurant is fantastic! It was our first time visiting and we absolutely loved it. The children's play area was great, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly. The meals were beautiful and served quickly. We especially enjoyed being able to order from our table using the app, which was perfect for our busy family. The only downside was that one of the games in the children's room was broken, but this was a minor issue compared to the overall great experience. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

Wow, Balaclava has deteriorated considerably since our last visit. We have been coming here for nearly 15 years and this was the last time. Service is abysmal. Staff were as inviting and friendly as an axe murderer and most things took multiple requests (such as...a glass of ice for a drink). The only saving grace was the food was ok. They could use some spelling lessons as well.
Work Business quick over night and absolutely Terrible , App to Order room service would not work could not find the Manager for ages , the reception is always closed , ended up no Dinner that night and no Breakfast , King Bed was two...Mattresses put together , skip bins rattle at 4am and No Hot Water next morning
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting. My friend and I had a delicious lunch, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my friend's meal arrived at least ten minutes before mine. Sam was attentive in taking our drink orders and made us feel welcome.

Great local pub! Great atmosphere, great selection of beers, TAB, Keno. The rump was cooked to perfection, which reminds me, the talent is awesome! Recommended!
