The food is good, but the previous version with smaller portions of meat was better. The website allows for preordering for 4:55, but when called, the restaurant said the delivery would be at 5:30. This inconsistency needs to be addressed. I ended up not placing my order until 5:45, which was frustrating.

This may be the top curry spot in Winchester. It's more affordable than the Indian restaurants in the city center. The restaurant has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere and the food is outstanding. Their menu is diverse, featuring some one-of-a-kind dishes in addition to the traditional favorites.

I don't usually order curries, but this place must serve one of the best ones around. They even fed the Red Arrows through delivery, so you know it's good! The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is great.

balaka has now changed the property and has a new name. gurkha spice. brad and his team took care of us yesterday with friendly service and nice eating on their opening night.
