This is the best sub sandwich in the Valley. I've tried them all. Better than all subs, the bread is done on a plancha and has the absolute perfect combo of crunch and chew -one of a kind. The owner has kept the consistency that has existed since I was a kid. The bread, meats, construction and relishes are spot on perfect. Order which sub you want and let the man behind the counter do the rest. There's only one Balboa Sub Shop.
Great Italian cold cut sub. This bread is so much better than New Jersey Mike's. The shop is nothing fancy. It's about the food. I can't wait to eat another sandwich there. Thanks Mike!
The only place I go to eat subs in the valley. Usually I go for the turkey, bacon, ?. I've had the Italian and the pastrami as well. You can't go wrong with anything.
