Have been coming here to this place for years because it's predictable. It should be, since it's family-run & they've been grilling at this window for decades. A lot of the clientele are also long-timers. Perfectly grilled plain fish (preceded by grilled scampi or scallops for special occasions), bowl of potato/cabbage salad, no frills with the food, service or surroundings.
The cabbage rolls with mash are tasty & really good in winter, the mixed grill is a good buy, the seafood platters will impress mussel & prawn lovers, the Eastern European style pancakes are only for massive eaters. But's it's really about the grilled meat & seafood, I wouldn't bother ordering anything...

C'était probablement la pire expérience culinaire à Sydney. Il semble être très sale, en particulier le vieil homme de la vie privilégiée et qui se comporte le vieil qui fait le gril. Ses ongles sont pleins de désordre noir qui est dégoûtant. Ils facturent 35 $ pour 4 côtelettes et côtelettes d'agneau sont des côtelettes d'agneau d'épicerie de haute qualité. La salade est aussi la même chose, c'est comme un paquet de salade d'un supermarché. Globalement, c'est un restaurant sale, peu professionnel et très mauvais dans le restaurant Value.
Very nice family run restaurant. We had lunch here on a Saturday and were the only patrons in the restaurant for ages. Really nice food and very filling. The only downside is parking in the area - it is the pits. Might have been better of an evening as I assume there would have been more diners.

With a vibrant and fun atmosphere, Balkan Seafood restaurant was a great experience! With a variety of seafood to try and tantalising Croatian flavours, The Balkan won’t disappoint! I definitely recommend their platters and their take on potato salad which is so good!
Incroyable grille de fruits de mer mixte, nous avons également eu une soupe de boeuf Bulkan salade et une crêpe avec noix et chocolat pour dessert. Le service était super et la nourriture est venue très vite. Je recommande à tout le monde.
Amazing fresh seafood served straight off the grill with the beautiful aroma wafting through the restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Very generous portions, you certainly won't be leaving hungry!
