Nach dem Besuch des Musicals Robin Hood wollten wir den Abend bei einem gemütlichen Essen ausklingen lassen. Da die Speisekarte für jeden von uns etwas bot sind wir hier eingekehrt. Mein Bauernschnitzel war gut, das Rumpsteak meiner Tochter leider nicht. Das Fleisch war eher zäh und vollständig durchgebraten. Nicht wirklich ein Genuss. Aber das eigentliche Übel ist die Tatsache, dass meiner Frau ihre Essenswünsche verweigert wurden. Sie hatte wenig Hunger und wollte deshalb ein kleines Essen aus dem Kinderbereich. Dies wurde von der eher mürrigen Bedienung abgelehnt. Auch der Ausweichwunsch nach einem Pallatschinken wurde rigoros abgelehnt weil es ein Essen aus dem Bereich Nachtisch ist. Wir...
Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Hansa-Keller. Da es regnete, wollten wir nicht im Freien sitzen und gingen ins Restaurant. Das erste, was uns in pampigem Ton gesagt wurde war „haben Sie reserviert? Nein? Dann nur draußen.“ Ein Ehepaar wollte gerade zahlen und wir haben dann doch einen Tisch im Restaurant bekommen. Das Essen selbst war in Ordnung. Auf der Speisekarte stand, was man in einem Balkan-Restaurant erwartet. Die Zeit zwischen bestellen und servieren war angenehm kurz.

Wir haben u.a. ein Steak Medium rare bestellt. Es war leider Medium well bis well done geliefert. Wir haben dieses höflich reklamiert. Vom Service kam nur, das sei Medium rare, es liege am Licht. Wir bekommen kein neues Steak, sondern dieses wird ersatzlos storniert. Das nächste Highlight war, dass die Sauce, die wir nachbestellen vom Nachbartisch auf unseren Tisch gestellt wurde. (halbvoll) Katastrophe. 1 Stern, weil man null nicht vergeben kann.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und üppig. Wir sind regelmäßig dort und können es allen Freunden balkanesischer Gaumenfreuden uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Besonders sind die freundlichen Gastgeber zu erwähnen.
