Fun conversation with the bartender, Jesus. I kidded him about the name of the establishment being an Irish town and where was the Irish food on the menu? (having recently returned from Ireland) and he took everything in good humor and explained the entire menu to me. There was nobody there but me and the staff then. Since moving to Avalon, having this hidden gem nearby has been fantastic. Our family often stays at the Holiday Inn, and we enjoy breakfast together, all just a short walk away. The food is consistently fresh and delicious! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, greeting us with smiles. In the evenings, the bar has a fun atmosphere where you can grab a drink and unwind. Don’t miss out on this place! The burgers and eggs are outstanding. Takeout is quick and hassle-free. Additionally, there are ramps and plenty of open space for wheelchair accessibility, if needed.
Despite being unable to offer indoor seating and having a limited menu (which is why I'm giving four stars), the food we ordered (a club sandwich, a Southwest chicken sandwich, and fries) was impressively high in quality and served with friendly, apologetic smiles. I would love to dine here again once this second wave of the pandemic is behind us. After dining at numerous hotel restaurants over the past 40 years, I can confidently say that this one ranks near the top in terms of price and quality. We ordered salads and they were large, with plenty of toppings and looking very fresh. The grilled chicken was really tender and well-marinated. Good value, as most entrees were about $12 before tax and tip, and a large glass of wine was $8.Cons: Limited menu with a few apps, 5 sandwiches, 5 salads. Wine list just OK with only 2 reds.
The fireplace was out of order, but the bartender was fantastic and more than compensated for it. The food was quite good and served fairly quickly. I ordered the weekly special, which was fish and chips, and it was okay. My friend opted for a steak, and it looked delicious with a perfect cook on it.

Good service in the buffet, very attentive staff. Room service was fast and the pot roast tasted just like mom used to make. Only con is the price, but not bad for a hotel restaurant.
Food was good, even dine in came in styrofoam boxes. Super nice staff!
