Hungry and tired of Burritos and Burgers, I stumbled across Banh Mi Zon just off 101 near the Civic Center. The building doesn't look like anything special but inside you'll see a sleek stainless steel clad kitchen and fancy flat screen menus kinda fancy! The food matches the snappy looking interior. I had the Banh Mi BBQ pork Vietnamese sandwich on freshly made french baguettes warmed with crispy/flaky crust, stuffed with a vinegar slaw with carrots, cilantro, jalapeno, and of course the tasty thinly sliced BBQ pork. Delish! I got my wife the vermicelli salad also with the BBQ pork, and there was so much food, she now has leftovers for her lunch tomorrow. They will have hot pot dinners to g...
This is hands down the best banh mi in Marin. We got the Hong Kong Milk Tea (very nice and strong! and two banh mi: pork belly and bbq pork. Amazing! Such good quality and lovely service. The bread is fresh and the flavor and quality of meat was fantastic. They also have a few imported grocery items we picked up unique ramen and snacks! We're excited to try the bowls, pho, and more milk teas!
Excellent establishment. Really great, kind folks run it. Fantastic food (quality, prep, everything). A word of warning about the spicy pork belly banh mi, it is SO GOOD, you may not actually end up trying anything else because you'll end up getting that every time. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
