Bandana's -b-q St. Joseph

Bandana’s B-B-Q never disappoints on the BBQ level! Personal fave is the coleslaw, smoked pulled pork budget buster, and potato salad! Chicago Sweet BBQ sauce with KC style BBQ sauce is the bomb dot com! Our waitress was super attentive! Service was great! The atmosphere needs some work! The poor place needs some updating for sure but my family and I come for the food not to check out the art on the walls. I highly recommend this joint for anyone looking for a great place for smoked meat and great BBQ sauces (that’s right! Plural! SAUCES! Fried green beans are one of our fave appetizers!

Brisket plate was very good and tender! They understood gluten free and gave an additional side in place of bread! Cole slaw was great! Green beans and corn were a bit plain. There were different flavors of sauce on the table to try that was a nice perk! Waitress staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was dated but clean and tidy. Pleasant surprise for our day of travel! Thanks Bandana’s!

Very happy, came down to Missouri on a lark for lunch. I was a bit apprehensive as last time I went to a place known for burnt ends... I think it was Jack Stack it was overpriced and not true burnt ends. Bandanas though delivered. Burnt ends were legit. Mac and Cheese was very tasty. My favorite offering though was the smoked sausage.

Great Gluten Free options. Our waitress was very helpful with making selections. Several sauces to choose from. Food was delicious. But they need to update their sign out front so the place doesn’t look so tacky.

Was here on a trip to buy a car and was recommended this place. The food was wonderful and the staff was really nice. The restaurant was also clean and well taken care of!
