Banger's Sausage House Beer Garden In Aust

Visited for lunch on a Monday. It was slow, but every bartender spoke to me about their beer and food. Beer selection is massive, and all TX beers are marked. Ordered the Chorizo sausage, which has only been on the menu for a bit more than a week. This was SOLID! Not quite a Mexican chorizo, so not really hot, and it was not greasy like some chorizo. The condiments on the sausage was the perfect pairing. Also ordered the poutine. Fries seemed double fried, and the sausage gravy was extremely good. My only negative was the cheese was a melting cheese instead of a liquid cheese. I would return for different menu items and, of course, different beers. Best backyard vibes on Rainey! One of the few left, unfortunately. Country Music blasting, big patio, big fans, big Yeti full of ice water!! Cider flight(s) were amazing. Great variety of beer, wines, ciders. When it's super hot in Austin, this is the place to chill out. Their salsa very verde sausage has just the right amount of kick. The dogs woofed down the woofwurst!

You know how every restaurant has items that are just kind of meh compared to the rest? I 've tasted about 3/4 of the menu and I haven 't found one yet. Also the beer selection is phenomenal find a new one by spinning the wheel!

Very chill kickback spot to get a drink and catch up. The music is not too loud so that's good.
