Wow! The food at this restaurant is fantastic! Since moving to West Michigan from California, we've missed the rich diversity of cultures and cuisines we used to enjoy. Many of the non-American restaurants around here seem to cater primarily to the local crowd and often lack true, authentic flavors. I called ahead to order because Bangkok Taste has always been one of the best Thai restaurants in Grand Rapids. However, when I called, the staff put me on hold and never returned to the call. Despite this, I went to the restaurant and stayed on hold to see how long it would take for someone to answer. After 15 minutes, I was still on hold, so I placed my order over the phone but remained on hold. I sat down to wait, and after about 20 minutes, the phone was finally answered. While waiting for my food, I noticed the employee putting other customers on hold and then playing on her phone, even though I was the only one in the restaurant. I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, and I encountered no problems whatsoever. I also want to express my apologies for my earlier review, which I have since removed, as it was mistakenly intended for a different Thai restaurant. You all are wonderful!
I ordered the curry pad thai and specifically requested "no egg." The server was very accommodating and communicated my request to the kitchen, adding "vegan sauce." The meal was delicious, and I opted for medium spiciness. Next time, I plan to try it with mild spice to see the difference.
I have visited Bangkok Taste several times, and the food has always been excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience very pleasant. Their menu offers a great variety of dishes that never disappoint.
I ordered the Curry Pad Thai. I asked for “no egg” and the server was happy to ask the kitchen to “Vegan Sauce”. The meal was great with medium-sized spices. Next time I will order with mild spices for comparison.

The Pad Thai I ordered today was really good, but I had hoped for it to be mildly spicy. However, when I tasted it, there was hardly any spiciness at all. That was the only disappointment for me today.
