Every year, I take three of my friends on a golf tour. Our requirements are simple: classic, well-designed golf courses, comfortable accommodations, and curry on a Monday night. After playing a round at the historic old links in Machrihanish, we needed something to warm us up besides whisky. We took the courtesy bus from the Ugadale Hotel and Suites to the Bangladesh Tandoori in Campbeltown. The restaurant, though not aesthetically pleasing, welcomed us with a warm smile from one of the family members who run the place. Following a number of beers in The Black Sheep, we decided to go for a curry, this restaurant was highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Not the easiest to find and the entrance area and stairs are a bit shabby. Friendly and helpful staff soon had us seated and we all enjoyed a delicious selection of starters and curries. A very enjoyable evening and meal. We would all recommend eating here and will return on our next visit to Campbeltown.
I was pleasantly surprised to find this Campbeltown restruant, the place was busy with take aways, well set tables, with clean walls and coloured ceiling lights gave a good atmosphere. Food was well prepared and tasty, price was very reasonable. The entrance was ramped and would have taken a wheelchair, staff were pleasant and cheerful. My only criticism was one toilet floor ,could have been cleaner, the handrier worked well.
Disgusting reheated junk! Ordered a munchie box millions of chips, couple of onion rings, couple of chicken nuggets…. Everything else was very disappointing, kebab meat that has been reheated over and over and dried out to a tinder, the chicken tikka was cooked earlier in the year and reheated it seems, genuinely like beef jerky! Disappointed very much!

Food was outstanding. Service was quick and friendly. I thoroughly recommend the main honey la piaza amazing. My friend had a jalfrezi he said that was excellent too. As others have mentioned before it's a non licensed restaurant but you can bring your own.
Vegetable pakora dry, crumbly and tasteless. Chicken pakora rubbery. Chicken obviously frozen both for pakora and main meals. Curry sauce bland. Basically threw the meal in the bin. If you are looking for a freshly cooked tasty curry go elsewhere
Excellent staff. I can’t eat dairy and the staff went out of their way to make sure my meal was dairy-free. I also wanted a milder curry and they did me one especially. We both thought our food was incredibly tasty and the portions were generous.
After reading the reviews, we decided to check out this restaurant despite its unusual entrance. We were greeted warmly at a charming, small restaurant with incredible food at reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant. They serve the best curry in town. The staff is kind and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I have never been disappointed with my dining experience here.
