This was absolutely gorgeous. First, the venue was so cozy and comfortable with a great ambience. Second the menu was lush without being pretentious. We had the platter to share and found that everything was perfect, the mozzarella was fresh and creamy, sun dried tomatoes were soft and tangy, and the beetroot hummus was garlicky and delicious. We shared a bottle of cabernet sauvignon, light, fruity and a perfect pairing with our food. Main course was the burger on brioche with chunky chips delicious¡! This restaurant had a lot of potential based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the main dishes were disappointing; two out of the four ingredients in the dish we chose were missing. The side of vegetables was completely unseasoned and tasted like plain boiled vegetables! The risotto in the main dish was overcooked and had a gluey texture. Given the prices, we expected better quality. The starters were decent, but my husband’s toasted sourdough was so hard that it cut his mouth! The waitress was excellent, but it’s a shame that the chef and the food didn't meet expectations.
Lovely food and a menu with so many things I could have ordered. Service was very good without being over attentive. Lovely surroundings although not buzzing when we arrived but it was an off-peak Saturday and we were close to last orders so several others may have already left by the time we got there. I just have to say what a beautiful restaurant and stunning food, I can’t praise it enough, the staff are extremely good and so nice. If you visit Ingleton, please visit this restaurant, for thé exceptional standard of food the price is very reasonable. The restaurant is open Thurs-Sat at the moment, and I recommend booking. The appetizer was so hard that it actually made my mouth bleed. The food was quite mediocre and the menu didn't even list the ingredients. The staff was wonderful, but they really need to improve the food quality; it was at a microwave meal standard. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
