First time here and the service was a bit underwhelming due to them being short staffed. There's free street parking and we sat outside. At first the bar tender said she was the only one and I had to go in to place my order as she was bringing other peoples food out and checking in them. I waited for my friend and went in and out and she was busy. Luckily, a Spanish only speaking buswoman was very kind and checked in on me periodically while I waited and again when my friend arrived and started us with water. This is such an underrated spot!! I was meeting a friend for a late lunch and they suggested this place which I'd never heard of. Parking wise, there's a small lot behind or you can find free street parking nearby. It's seat yourself inside and our server was super attentive and friendly, checking in on us consistently. I just had a Tropicalia, but they had lots of interesting beers on tap which I appreciated. I loved how varied the menu was too! I got the Bantam Chicken Sandwich, and my friend got the Lamb Burger. Just got takeout from here and this is our first stop in Georgia, this place was recommended by friends who are locals. I got the bantam burger medium well, it was delicious!! Perfectly salted , a bit heavy if you don't eat a lot of salt but for me it was peeerfect. Super savory and a little spicy but enjoyable spicy not omg I'm dying spicy! I also asked for jalapeño aoili it was divine. You can tell who ever is cooking cares and is making the food properly. My tiny little complain was there was no gluten free bun. At the end of the day it was fine because I don't mind eating a lettuce wrap, but it would be nice to have the option.
I had been to this bar many years ago and this was me Coming back after 5 years. It still has the old half a decade ago ATL vibe, Lots of character and neighborhood dive bar feel Rigjt next to beltline. They have 7-8 draft selections of local beer including guiness !! We went for dinner and tried the bantam burger and lamb burger. The lamb was definitely more flavorful but the bantam burger had a healthy serving of mushrooms and brie cheese. The fries are awesome too!Definitely try this spot out and I'll try to come back for brunch

Our bartender Justin was awesome, we filled his bar with a large group of high maintenance girls and he gave fantastic service. There were some very rude guests beside us, one threw her food on the bar. Justin handled the situation much calmer and more professional than most could have. Been coming to bantam for years but I thought this guy could use a shout out. Those guests sucked and Justin is definitely a tough employee.
The food was so good! I’d say the Bantam chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I’ve had. So juicy, and the aioli and bacon paired perfectly. When you walk in there’s no host which can be confusing when it’s busy, so you may want to consider a sign that says to seat yourself.
One of my favorite local pubs to visit. Their food never disappoints. I love getting their smoked wings. Their old fashioned is also on point. I often see the owners here and enjoy having a conversation with them, extra happy when they bring the big sweet dog.
Been here a few times and always a good time. Great local pub with good drinks, great service, and the food is surprisingly excellent. Bantam chicken sandwich with fries is great and good cocktails and wine.

I love this place! The food is always spot on and the atmosphere and service are 10 out of 10. Highly recommend for a dinner or brunch spot or just grabbing drinks with friends. Dogs welcomed on the porch!
Update: went to brunch to my old faithful spot. Can't go wrong with a the frittata and shrimp and grits. So good! Service is always good and the suave is relaxing and easy.
