We live down the road and have been coming to Bar Furnas for years now. It's my favourite place to come in the mornings for coffee and toast after walking the dogs, or later in the evening, to have a G&T with a meal and just gaze out to the Ocean, watching the sunset or spotting the dolphins. The Bar/Restaurant is very traditional in its looks\decor and in the food it serves you really feel like you're in Galicia and have escaped the world. I love the place and hope nothing changes! They by far do the best Tortilla I've ever had (maybe something to do with using there own chickens eggs) given its something that many would say looks so basic and simple, its never tasted so good! This is our third visit to the area and this bar is very well located; it gets very busy but that’s to be expected. The staff are like machines; always there, incredibly hard working. The food is all pretty good; fairly standard Galician food although a bit more expensive than usual, especially if you stray off the raciones menu. But overall it’s a decent place to watch the sun set and the dolphins play.

good beach for the practice of surfing where you can go with campervan, has a good explanade of land and a nearby campsite, restaurant bar on beach foot.
