Booked dinner here after a good experience a few months ago. The focaccia bruschetta starter took over 40 mins to arrive, and the bread seemed more like Vienna roll than focaccia. We received our main courses 1h20 after arriving. Carbonara and Bolognese both fine. There were fruit flies hovering around our table the whole time. Dinner for 2 with a shared starter and one drink each came to €74, which feels a bit steep given the issues mentioned. The food and drinks are decent but there are better alternatives in Dublin at a similar price point.
It's one of the best italian restaurants that i have ever been. The service was nice and pleasant. The waiter delivered food very quickly. The food was so delicious. I have tried restorant's special, pasta in tomato sauce with beef cooked in wine. Meat was so tender and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restorant and i will be back for sure
Had a fantastic birthday dinner at Bar Italia. Having lived in Italy for a couple of years, I can confidently say that everything about Bar Italia is authentically Italian. The food was delightful, the wine selection is good, and the staff incredibly friendly. A nostalgic and enjoyable experience that makes me eager to return. Highly recommended!
Food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. Amazing wine list. Brought my mother for her Birthday and they made it very special with all staff coming to wish her a happy birthday, highly recommended the beef cheek pasta ! Great experience will be back again for sure.

Could not recommend this place enough. Staff were absolutely class, so friendly and helpful. Recommended gorgeous wine. Carbonara mince sausage ragu calamari burratta parma desert special of the day all rated 10/10. Really enjoyed it all.
Fantastic food, fantastic staff, fantastic wine selection and a lovely atmosphere. Best Italian in Dublin. Best pizza I’ve had anywhere price was pretty reasonable too
Really good food, great setting and atmosphere, excellent service and pricing is appropriate. Get an aperitivo, the pour is generous!
Best Italian in Dublin. Fabulous gnocchi special along with a well balanced bolognese. Desserts also were incredible! 10/10
