Das Globus schafft es tatsächlich, Bar, Lounge und Restaurant in einem zu sein. Für ein kleines Städtchen wie Oberstaufen bietet es erstaunlicherweise einen Hauch von Internationalität und könnte sich durchaus auch in einer grossen Stadt sehen lassen. Im Globus kann man wunderbar essen. Die Karte ist zwar nicht besonders gross, aber wie der Name "Globus" vermuten lässt, decken die Gerichte verschiedene Länder und Kontinente ab. Es gibt aber auch Spezialitäten aus Bayern und dem Allgäu. Das Globus ist auch für Benutzer des öffentlichen Verkehrs sehr gut gelegen, denn es liegt gleich hinter dem Bahnhof von Oberstaufen. Die Bedienungen im Globus sind jugendlich, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend...
Globus is a little out of place in Oberstaufen, but it's actually a fantastic place to have a feed and a few beers.The decor isn't the most traditional in Oberstaufen, but don't let that fool you; there is still some beautiful Allgäu specialities on the menu, many with a modern twist. Once you've done the traditional thing, it's worth checking out.It's reasonable value for money as well (given how tasty the food is), and they have Sky and a big screen if you're into watching the football. Very much recommended ... and try the cheese schnitzel.
Wir besuchten diese Lokalität aufgrund des Schnitzel all you can eat am Sonntag von 18:00-20:00h. Wir kamen kurz vor 20:00h, trotzdem war es kein Problem das Buffet neu aufzulegen. Die Schnitzel waren lecker und es gab sie in drei unterschiedlichen Variationen. Pommes, Spätzel und Bratkartoffeln als Beilage. Etwas Salat wäre gut, fehlte aber. Der Preis bei 9,90€, Weizenbier bei 3,20€. Service freundlich und schnell, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm.
Perfectly located, friendly service, good prices, tasteful dishes, I would recommend ordering the “Steak Seele” The owners are such a wonderful host Perfect place to have some drinks/beers/ cocktails and even if you like to watch some sports, they have a large screen with SKY. Do not forget to make reservations because it is always very crowded. 10/10 Réservez une table maintenant
We were staying in town at a local resort. Gloubus was recommended to us as a place to get something to eat! Let me tell you! On Sundays, they have a buffet for 9 Euros and half for children. The food is great! Afterwards, we played some pool and drank some more beers! Nice place to relax!
