Barbarossa Bakerei and Cafe

Local friends recommended Barbarossa so I gave it a shot. They have a decent selection of pastries and breads a a few meat/cheese sets with coffee and juice. I grabbed a cappacino and a apple pastrie which were both good. They have inside and outdoor seating as well. It seemed they were one of the few places open on a Sunday morning. Perfect place to get a coffee and a bite while you read the paper

Doing some urban exploring walked past this place initially, but returned. Do not remember the name of the pastry ordered (nuplu?) but was just what I needed. Not to sweet, not crunchy, and a little warm. Also ordered a small black coffee- the coffee in Europe is so much better than American coffee, not sure why but I love it. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful.

We stopped for a coffee and saw the great selection of baked goods. After ordering 2-selections and coffee we found the price very reasonable. Within walking distance of our house--although we would be ready for a sandwich when we get here. I will return many times over the next 4-years we live in Germany.

Die Mitarbeiter sind recht freundlich. manchmal auch zickig. Die Backwaren sind so gut und teuer wie überall . Die belegten Bröztchen sind sehr sehr teuer, für wenig Geld ist fast nichts hier zu haben. Die Gerichte für den Mittagstisch sind frisch und lecker, aber vegleichweise eben auch teuer. Met afriend for breakfast here. The pastries and cakes are wonderful as are all the different types of bread. Locals come to get loaves cut while they wait. Their quality shows. Love that you can sit inside and enjoy the whole experience.

Great place to get out if cold and enjoy a nice coffee and pastry. I enjoyed the poppy seed strudel. It was moist and not cloyingly sweet. When the temps are in the 30s it's a warm respite.

Wonderful place to get cappuccino and toast.The mood is relax and the people are very friendly. If you're walking into Landstuhl just stop on by and say hello.

We popped in here for a little warm up on a rainy afternoon and enjoyed croissants, tea and coffee. The chocolate croissants were especially good Réservez une table maintenant

Perfect place for coffee and cake in the afternoon. My daughter likes the whole grain rolls. I bought some yummy strawberry jam as well.

The place was clean, service good. The coffee was very good and so was the cheesecake. There were also sandwiches for sale.
