Barcellos Family Restaurant

I have been to the restaurant many many times and it was always just, ok! Today my Fiancé I went there from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was fantastic. When we walked in, noone was at the podium to seat us. As soon as Ashley came around the corner seen us, she acknowledged us said she would be with us shortly. (She was bringing drinks to other tables). She came and sat us was taking our drink order within minutes. Everything came out seamlessly drinks were never empty because she was always on top of it with refills I asked her for her name because i wanted to write this review. The staff is unprofessional and unpleasant! When I arrived, a woman was outside smoking, and she just tossed her cigarette aside. Then she closed the door right in my face! She went behind the bar without even washing her hands and continued to be rude to me throughout my visit. There was no friendliness or professionalism whatsoever—no greeting, nothing. This was my first and last time here. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!

Place is ok but don?t order the seafood paella it?s $40.00 for mostly rice. Half a small chicken lobster, 4 shrimp, 6 muscles and 4 scallops. There was enough rice for 4 people but the portion of seafood looked like leftovers from someone?s plate. Not my first time here but if this is the new portion size on other menu items I won?t be coming back.

I visited Barcellos for the first time and was truly impressed. The food was excellent, but our server really stood out! Her name is Aggie, and she made our experience even more enjoyable. stopped on a wim. Excellent service teamwork. quick and attentive. Food was really good. Authentic Portuguese food and lots of other choices. Prices are comparable. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. However, I advise against visiting during holidays or special occasions, as they tend to offer less for more and the overall experience isn't as impressive.

The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the service was outstanding. I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was between $50 and $100. I highly recommend the Kale Soup and the Bacalhau.
