Just a review for drinks: They have a decent HH on weekdays (can't remember the time), and on Friday from 5p -6p ($5 beers and wines, 2 for 1 cocktails) but the place definitely has a VIBE! Beautiful interior with beautiful people, lots of tables and heaters outside. The biggest problem was there were about 6 pretty bartenders behind the bar who literally didn't know how to make a cocktail. Why are you starting your bar staff during HH on a Friday? They should be well versed on how to make all thedrinks, or you know, train them before a busy period. They looked dumbed not knowing what they were doing behind the bar. We ordered an espresso martini and another gin cocktail, our bartender liter...
Après une journée de vignobles de tourisme, vous espérez continuer à manger et à boire à travers Hobart. Il a fallu 20 minutes pour caractériser quelqu'un pour nous donner des menus et après plus de 25 minutes de tables de recherche des deux côtés sont servis par nous, nous nous sommes levés et allés ailleurs. La décoration est belle, la nourriture avait l'air délicieuse. Sacidité, nous n'avons pas donné l'occasion de commander.
This is a great venue but the staff all appear to be young jocks who are all super casual to the point of stuffing up orders and just forgetting. This has happened twice to us. The happy hour on the web is a prime example. The happy hour on their website says 4.30 - 6.30!! When we came in 4.40 we were told that the website is out of date and happy hour is 5-6 pm. Symptomatic of the confusion.
Had dinner last Saturday 5 August 2017 at Barcelona. Ordered panfried salmon. Fish was half cooked, pinkish in the middle. It was soaking in oil with sundried tomatoes, mashy eggplant. The waitresses were on our backs. Kept taking out glasses, plates without even asking if we are already finished. Onr of the waitress took my husband's glass of beer and he wasn't even finished with the beer. Réservez une table maintenant
Commandé dans le menu Tapas. Le menu était un peu court et pourrait utiliser des plats supplémentaires, mais la qualité était bonne et une nourriture très agréable. Belle cour avec chauffage signifie que nous pourrions nous asseoir à l'extérieur. Globalement, très bel endroit, nourriture et soirée. Recommandez le ventre de cochon BBQ! Prix raisonnable aussi.
Atmosphere is great both indoors and outdoors. Service can be quite slow as staff is constantly serving food and drinks. Salmon with crispy skin is cooked to almost perfection at medium rare. Sautéed veggies consist of broccolini & spinach is quite salty but fresh. Beer battered chips is awesome!! Green tea comes with a teapot of flavorsome leaves.
Group of 7 for lunch. Greeted and seated quickly, however it took ages and my prompting for drink order to be taken. Drinks were beaten to the table by our food.Large wall heaters weren't on. Noticeably cool inside. Once we left I found it seemed warmer outside.Food was nice, but service was poor.
They went out of their way to make room for us which was much appreciated on a cold winter night. It was reasonably priced for the high quality we received. There was a good variety of food offered and the waitress was friendly and cheerful. Réservez une table maintenant
