We went to Bare Bones last night (Saturday) to celebrate our anniversary and we were absolutely blown away. Not only was our server, Dylan, very polite but also extremely helpful with any questions we had. We chose the Fried Mozzarella as an appetizer and for the entrees, I decided on the Pan Roasted Chicken with a baked potato and my partner got a rare Tomahawk with both a baked potato. We also had fries to share, just to try them. Not only was everything great, but his steak was cooked perfectly. We love this spot! The service has been consistently great. All three levels have different vibes which I appreciate. Upper lever is a chill rooftop bar with plenty of seating for dining. 2nd level has private dining for events as well as another open dining room. Supposedly it's one of the historic recreational facilities in historic Buford, complete with the old basketball goals. Super cool. 1st level was an old bank! Off the beaten path but worth the visit. Definitely will be back. Greeted and sat promptly during our visit. The waiter was helpful, patient, and eager to please. Started with the Fried Onion Rings great flavor and unless you have 4 6 people dining, you 'll definitely be taking them home with you. Enjoyed the Prime T Bone along with creamed corn and the garlic mashed. . The sides were great. Be aware of cooking on a wood grill which could add a bit of extra char to the steak which made the edges too charcoal y for me. The cook on the steak was spot on. Finished with the cream puffs. Table of 6 people, ordered some starters to share. Server drops food in the center of table. We were never given dishes. Steaks and Lamb chops were under cooked, and served without steak knives, had to track down our waitress to get knives. We loved this restaurant the last 4 times not last knight. I felt like i was in a steak house version of McDonalds. The food quality was also poor, i felt sick afterwards, from the food and the high priced event. I will not be back!!! The prime fillet mignon literally melted in your mouth. You can really taste the wood fire. They cook the steaks over the mac cheese was perfect. You just have to try the onion rings if you come here they are so light , I have never experienced an onion ring like that. And you must get the banana fosters. Great service definitely a memorable meal
We were on a bachelorette party and came to the roof top ! Eric was AMAZING!!!! Awesome service , great personality, and went above and beyond to make our night special !! We will definitely return and ask for Eric !!!!! Oh … and the best part … ladies if your heel breaks on your shoe…. He will fix it right up for you !!!
