We got to the restaurant parking lot and notice no valet so I called to ask where can we park since it was packed and no valet parking so we parked at the other restaurant near bareli’s. I recently had a business dinner at this restaurant and was very impressed. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making me feel right at home. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the specials and recommended some popular dishes from the menu. I decided to try the double cut pork chop, which was incredibly large and absolutely delicious. The outside was crispy while the inside was moist and tender, and the sauce was so tasty that I couldn't resist mopping it up with some bread. The elegant ambience was the prefect start to a romantic evening, it felt like a sene out of classy Italian movie. The restaurant itself is small but in a good way, leaves you feeling at home. We definitely will return the next time we are in the area. The severs were super friendly and attentive, especially our waiter Marvin L, he made us feel like family with how understanding and accommodating he was with my various food allergies. The salads were garden fresh and their olive oil tasted like we were dinning in Italy. The 20oz bone in New York steak was delicious, complements to the chef indeed.
I have been a patron of this restaurant for nearly 20 years. The food, service, and wine selection are all top-notch. Our server, Nelson, was exceptional. The only downside was that my fiancé ordered two Old Fashioned cocktails, which were priced at $27 each and did not meet our expectations. Typically, bars charging that much would use black cherries, but these cocktails used Manoshero cherries and Woodford Reserve, resulting in a taste more akin to a dive bar cocktail.

We went to Barelis for my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have been more pleased. The ambiance when you walk in is welcoming, the wait staff pleasant, professional and courteous. The food was exceptional. The owner came by to see how everything was going and couldn’t have been nicer. We are very pleased by this experience and gave nothing bad to say. I would recommend this place , you won’t be disappointed
If you need to be in this area, then it’s a very nice restaurant with good food and service. But I wouldn’t travel out of the way to come here. Nothing I ate stood out from most of the Italian restaurants in north Jersey
Though on the expensive side, every dish we tried was incredibly tasty. Definitely worth the cost.

Excellent meal. Enjoyed the balloons that were on every table for Valentines Day.
