I and my wife, we like to eat and well and because of the advertising out on the restaurant we decided a few days ago an otherwise tasty chinoise a discreation to gönnen in the restaurant bear in Rothenburg.At arrival the restaurant was well filled, we bothered that we had been put on a Monday to a table where already had 2 people sat. 1 hour waiting for us to put a fondue caquelon on the table.A caquelon very cheap and equipped with an extremely weak burning light that could hardly warm the bouillion.Auch on the table next door was chinoise à discréation, we fell on the one that there was no more meat at the hearts and there were extremely long waiting times.There was finally a normal meat plate with us. for both)The bouillion was and was not hot and had no aroma!We tried to pick up the whole thing with salt from the table.Fleisch was of very good quality but here the chef simply has taken too full with the designation à discréation!heisst as much as: you eat as much as you like!. and not. what the chef considered to be appropriate.It was obvious that you tried to save meat by simply letting the guests wait for a long time without harm.It took 30 min each time until something meat was added.We ordered once more meat and got a micy portion of approx. 100 gr., although we had again ordered the same plate meat from the beginning.The following amount of meat was turned completely under the table and we had enough to wait even longer. the sauces were delicious, but so little in the small tiny little ones just a sweat.Simply only a catastrophic of A-Z!The services simply uncompetent, however I think they have their instructions from the chef that should not be eaten too much and this woman certainly has not to meet the debt.Also a ordered drink was good and would like to order 20 We left the restaurant in the know we won't go to eat there again. a huge catastrophe.

at last once again a restaurant, where at our last visit everything voted. the gaststube is very nicely furnished, but still sprays the charm of an old farmhouse. the service staff worked very friendly and professional. we chose an salate as an appetizer, and I chose meat from hot stone. this time it was allowed to be a Rinds entrecôte. the quality of the product convinced completely. also the sauces were super delicious. the country bites also convinced as a supplement. my wife went out for the Züri-Gschnätzlet. in this court they felt that it was freshly prepared; only the lärm in the dining room through a large group of younger guests was close to the border to the unbearable. but we're still coming back. it has fallen very much in the bear and we felt very comfortable.

only with the ambiente is the local top. our three-course-menu with salat, bisonsteak (goes as butter in the palate) on the hot stone and a delicious dessert was simply the hammer. happy again.

beautiful village inn, traditional cuisine, slate bison (we haven't tasted, the next time maybe), excellent hunting, good meals for children, drunk but efficient service.
