Baren - Réservation de table

Wir waren für ein Wochenende zum entspannen da. Das Hotelzimmer war alt und einfach eingerichtet, jedoch sehr sauber. Der Weg zum Hotelzimmer war etwas weit von der Rezeption und das Zimmer war eiskalt bei Ankunft, man könnte ggf. Die Heizung vorher einstellen bei so eisigen Temperaturen. Der Weg zum Bahnhof war 10min, das ist sehr zentral. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte viel Auswahl. Das Abendessen war auch gut (4Gangmenu). Alles in allem toller Aufenthalt, Preis Leistung ist wahrscheinlich sehr ok, da die Lage allgemein sehr teuer ist. Verbesserungsvorschläge: fragen wir man das Fleisch möchte, nicht jeder mag es blutig Frühstücksablauf könnte erklärt werden, d.h Man könnte in Empfang genommen...

Excellent customer service and great views of the surrounding mountains with a view of the Swiss Alps. We have the corner room with great views. Old property and well maintained. Bed sheets are very clean and the mattress is comfortable with good support. The overall cleaning is satisfactory. Water fountain is at the door. Breakfast is fantastic with variety and good quality. We had a good rest over 2 quiet nights and enjoyed the beautiful view with tingling cow bells in the background. Very recommended!

Mir hat das alte Haus, 1706, gefallen. Die Zimmer mit viel Holz und knarrendem Boden. Die Lage des Hotels mit Sicht auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau, direkt an der Bushaltestelle. Grosse Auswahl beim Frühstück mit bestem Kaffee. Halbpension: 3- oder 4-Gand Menü war ein Genuss, vorallem auch im schönen Stübli. Sehr nettes Personal, ebenso der Besitzer, alle hilfsbereit und freundlich! Komme wieder

Nice typical place. We ate the fondue with bacon and ham and we were surprised first because we did not find the bacon and ham (just the fondue, the bread and the potatoes) and then we found them in the fondue... Original and really great idea, we didn't know this recipe and it tasted very good! I wish I could eat it again... I'll be sure if I come back! Réservez une table maintenant

We were not at the hotel, but were recommended to eat here at our B. The culinary experience was simply wonderful. The waiters were friendly, the food was exceptional and the ambience was quintessential Swiss! We had the bare salad with warm bacon and egg, marinated steak and calf cornbleu with dessert panna-catta with raspberry sorbet.

Auf der Durchreise nach Grindelwald machten wir einen gelungenen Stop in Wilderswil im Bären. Der Service war trotz den sehr vielen anwesenden und arbeitsintensiven Asiaten aufmerksam und gut. Die Speisekarte schien uns eher klein doch die ausgewählten Gerichte waren reichhaltig ,gut und gross. Preislich in Ordnung.

This hotel used to be a favourite but changed hands a few years ago. The food is now very expensive but the menu is very similar to other local restaurants. A lovely building with good atmosphere. The food isn't great value for money.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel. Leider ist der Gastgeber sehr unfreundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant leider auch nicht sehr gut. Kalte Suppen und Salat aus dem Beutel sind Standard. Réservez une table maintenant

Bin jetzt zum zweiten mal hier. Personal sehr distanziert. Preis Leistung nicht befriedigend. Küche lässt zu wünschen übrig.
