This tea room is delightful, offering a wide variety of loose leaf teas that can also be purchased in their tea shop. Each tea order includes a timer to ensure proper brewing. The crumpets with honey were exceptionally tasty. It was refreshing to see that everything was plastic-free, with honey served in a dish accompanied by a metal spoon. COVID-19 safety measures are in place, including temperature checks before seating guests. This traditional tea room in Alnwick is a must-visit.
I never knew I could visit a tea room like this. There is a wide variety of teas, along with other beverages, scones, and cakes that are absolutely delicious. The friendly and cheerful staff made the experience even better. I highly recommend visiting this tea room to experience it for yourself. It's truly amazing!
Called into Alnwick with French visitor Alixia from Dunbar's twin town Lignieres in central France yesterday. Alixia loves her tea and this was the ideal spot to stop for her to sample an English cream tea. So wide a choice of teas and the scones were scrumptious. Will definitely be back next time I am in Alnwick.
We always call in whenever we're in Alnwick and it never disappoints. Great selection of teas and, if you stumble into the tea shop not realising what it is (we've seen it happen! , filter coffee too. The food on offer (scones and jam, crumpets, etc are lovely as well. You won't regret stopping for a cuppa.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of teas and delicious homemade soup and scones. We were able to dine here with our dog thanks to the outdoor seating. The staff was excellent, offering recommendations on teas and even bringing water for our furry companion. I would highly recommend this establishment.
A lovely little tea room, selling beautiful cakes and scones. We were made to feel very welcome, even though my husband ordered coffee. I loved the newspaper style menu and the fact you could buy packets of the tea to take home. Fabulous customer service and we will definitely be returning.
