Nous sommes venues dans ce bistrot cosy sur lequel nous sommes tombées par hasard à deux reprises. C'est certainement l'un des meilleurs restaurants dans lequel j'ai mangé. Le patron et sa serveuse sont très sympas, très serviables: ils feront tout pour que vous vous sentiez à l'aise. La nourriture est juste... divine! Parmi nos meilleurs repas à Toronto. AUCUNE déception. Nous avons testé la langue de boeuf et les tagliatelles aux crevettes piquantes et c'était vraiment un délice. Je n'ai jamais mangé de si bonnes 'cwèmes bwulées' en France! Les vins proposés sont également très bons. La terrasse est belle, en bois et ombragée, sans vis à vis.Lors de notre dernière visite (juste avons d'aller à l'aéroport) le patron nous a fait déguster une des spécialités locales (des petits gâteaux), et nous avons longuement parlé avec lui et sa serveuse, qui est de TRES loin la serveuse la plus serviable que j'aie croisé. We came to this cozy restaurant twice. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my whole life. The boss and the waitress are so kind, so service-minde: they want you to feel home. The food is just amazing! Divine! We ate spicy shrimps and beef tong and it was excellent. I ate the best 'crème brulée' ever. The patio is beautiful, quiet: a place you feel comfortable in. When we came for the second time (just before our flight back to France), the boss and his waitress came to talk to us. They made us discover some regional cakes, which were very good. A place you MUST go to if you live in Toronto.

This is very like a French local bistro; a casual, warm, leisurely European meal. We have eaten here many times, and taken friends, and have never had anything but a great experience of food that retains the feeling of home-made comfort food while being perfectly made and delivering great flavours and textures. For brunch, excellent omelettes bursting with veggies, and home made sausages; or a unique eggs benedict on a melting beef cheek and delicate latke. The roast chicken is perfect: crispy outside, tender inside, flavorful. The tuna encrusted with pistachio is delicious, as is the beet salad with creamy cheese. Pasta with ragu is spicy and just the right richness. Our friends have enjoyed the hamburger, the caesar salad, and risotto. In fact, you can't go wrong. Good selection of drinks and wine. Limited dessert selection, but rich flourless chocolate cake, exceptional creme brulee, and really good coffee. Always very generous portions. And the chef and the front of house staff are extremely nice, generous, hospitable people. There's a pleasant outdoor terrace as well.

Great food and attentive service. We shared the Mediterranean Platter which has marinated olives, oven roasted tomatoes, grilled peppers, spinach salad with roasted beets, Arugala salad with pears and some feta cheese. Complimentary hot bread with hummus comes to table and goes great with the Med. platter I had the Tapanade crusted Halibut, My husband had the Mussels in a marinara sauce, our sons had a cheese platter and Tagliatelle Ragu,which had braised beef and lamb. Food was well prepared and delicious. we have eaten here quite a few times and always leave satisfied. The prices are affordable. A must try. This is a cozy, European style bistro that ticks all the boxes. The food is excellent, service to match, reasonably priced and Hugge galore. We bring all our out of town guests here and everyone loves it. Menu is small but varied, something for everyone. Chef is skilled, everything properly done and delicious. It is not a big place so recommend reservations.

Finally tried this restaurant for a mid-week lunch and was totally impressed. Lovely service by the owner and a fascinating mix on the menu.
