The Managers were so friendly and hugely accommodating to us. We were on our boat and they were lovely, helpful and lots of fun. Also on the Sunday, we had planned to cruise back to our Marina but the weather was appalling so we went back to the pub and asked about eating there again. It was Mothering Sunday and they were heaving so they didn't think they'd be able to accommodate us but they asked us to hold on and not give up. Towards the end of their extremely busy service, they managed to squeeze us in and were, once again, so friendly and accommodating, checking on us and that the food was fine etc. They are both fantastic people and great managers. What used to be a wonderful family pub has changed. It was loud with people shouting, arguing and swearing. Really bad atmosphere did not stay for a second drink.
