Low-key, pretty good for airport food and it's gonna be better than the majority of other restaurants at the airport, but there was a huge need for more workers as not only my party but also many others were stuck at tables for extreme amounts of time (make sure to ask for the check early or it will take forever). The breakfast burrito I got was pretty good especially to hold me over during my layover and I would probably try it again if I ever have another long layover at LAX but I would definitely be sure that you have an ample amount of time before your flight if you decide to eat here! Barney’s Beanery at the airport offers a decent dining option amidst the sea of terminal eateries. It took a long time for us to get service. Food came quickly and this is why: premade scrambled egg mix from a box, a single slice of barely toasted bread, a soggy cavendish farms hash brown patty and two slices of pre cooked and burned bacon. Beware of this place they add an automatic 18% gratuity to your bill. Go hungry, or go somewhere else. This place is terrible.
Place was half empty but it took 10 minutes for anyone to show up and seat me. Two other groups left because it took so long. It took another ten minutes before anyone took my drink order (no food... and another ten minutes to come to me. Good thing I wasn't in a rush. Even though it was half empty it was incredibly loud so I didn't stay long.

first of all, when me and my family ordered our drinks it took like 20 minutes to get to our table after we asked about it, as if our waiter forgot. next the food is ok not the best but okay, it was very greasy though but the hash brown was very good. finally, the restaurant was pretty comfortable and relaxing ?. overall would not recommend.
The bartender knew little about the menu, and what he could tell me indicated that there was nothing on the menu that a vegetarian could eat. Pair that with ridiculous prices on the drinks, I skipped without ordering. Vegetarian options: Nothing is labeled, and staff aren't knowledgeable about what's vegetarian.
The fries were hot and the everything burger was smothered in sauce and the bun was greasy. The waitress never brought water until asked nor delivered the check timely. The waitress then automatically added 18% to the bill of a burger and drink order. The draft beer was $10 and the simple burger was over $20.
What a rip off!! If you want to pay $46 for 2 beers and a side of fries.No prices of drinks on menu. Also the 18% gratuity is automatic! They tell you after. That’s insane. $14 a beer for a standard pint of beer then tip added on. $10 side of fries. No thanks. Never again!

Mediocre food, okay-ish service, messy tables and cramped seating. Not a bar/restaurant of the quality of a major international airport. The only upside is that there are some decent craft beer options.
Mediocre food. Slow service. Automatic 18% gratuity is absurd. This place is literally only in business because of the location.
