Went here last night for a special dinner. I had high expectations because the place has recently been recommended in the new Michelin Denver guide. Our waiter was very nice, but the food didn't blow my mind. We had the fritto misto, cheese souffle, and seafood cassoulet. Everything tasted fine, but nothing was that exciting. The cassoulet portion was pretty small. One shrimp, maybe an ounce of fish and one slice of seafood sausage, with some beans and cabbage. I was going to order the pistachio gelato for dessert, since the menu said it was homemade. I asked if it had real pistachios in it. The waiter, to his credit, said no, just flavoring. I didn't order it. The decor feels a little dated...
I can’t not leave a review. This was the best restaurant pick I’ll ever make! The 4 course dinner is a MUST. The proportions are perfect and the service is the highest in the industry. Alex, our waitress, was so attentive and wonderful. We tried 8 different menu items and found a new favorite wine. The presentation was also beautiful. My only regret is not finding this restaurant sooner! Thank you Ryan for coming by and giving us a bit of the history on Barolo. And thank you Alex for making our dinner an experience to remember!
The restaurant is very good,food is good quality and good presentation. Very high selection of wine. Just a bit disappointed about the service, waiting to long in the table. But for sure you can't skip this restaurant, atmosphere is very close to Italian restaurant. Here everything is high class,so don't expect price is cheap.
One of the best steaks you can get in Denver. Cheesecake is excellent. Service is what you would expect: top notch. Absolutely go for the Frito Misto for appetizer, steak for appetizer, and cheesecake for dessert. The pastas were underwhelming, making it a restaraunt focused on proteins and sweets. You can’t go wrong .

My husband and I just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and selected Barolo grill for the first time for our celebration. Service was excellent and food outstanding! We will definitely have Barolo grill on our return visit list! Thank you for treating us so kindly! Jim Joyce DeSantis
We are foodies and have a lot of favorite restaurants, our first time at Barlol was simply AMAZING! Staff was excellent, food was outstanding, and loved the atmosphere. Haven’t been to Italy yet, but feel this is as close as we get in the US. Must go!!!

Service was good, the steak was great! So was the cheesecake. One dish I had was pretty strong but still good.
