We went to Barranco on a Friday night and I ate my way through the vegan half of the menu, tasting all four vegan mains and the vegan dessert. I especially enjoyed the “Esparragos” (fermented and grilled asparagus) and the “Camote Umami” (sweet potato). Unfortunately, the portions somehow kept getting smaller and smaller. Only the non-veg salmon ceviche and pork belly looked like actual (but still undersized) mains. Don’t get me wrong: the food was very tasty, the dishes were elaborate and the seasoning was on point. However, we felt like we were paying almost fine dining prices, for fine dining portion sizes (100-150kcal per vegan menu item I reckon, sometimes less), for below average servi...
