SAVE your money people and eat at home. Service was odd. We were met with....we are out of a ton of things. Ambiance feels like an IHOP someone attempted to make into man space. Really wanted to like this place. Limited beer selection. Cheese sticks tasted more like grease sticks. Absolutely gross. French dip was more bread than meat and au jus was spicy (who makes spicy au jus, just wrong). They offered to make something else after they insisted several times it's not spicy. We had everyone in the party try it and it was damn sure spicy. At this point the rest of the party is almost done. They even screw up sweet potato fries. Mine were over done and flavorless...how? On Sunday afternoon lunch with my old boss and friend and his son. Dustin service was very good. He reacted to us and did a nice job. Despite his actually too bartening and serving. Let's get the most important part of the experience, the food. Declan had a great time with the children's menu and had loved Mini-Maishunde with him. We had the Bruschetta as a starter. It was good from the chain. Fresh and served before eating as an appetizer. Corbin had the Caesar Salad he liked. I had the beer cheese baconburger. With groundless frits. The burgers and fries were hot fresh and so good. The Pommes were broken and great. The burger was tall and filled and one of the better burgers I had in Boise...
Service was good although they did get my order wrong and offered to redo it. Chicken on my grilled chicken caesar turned out to be battered which I did not want. Ended up eating it as is and it was delicious. The naked buffalo wings were overdone and had too much black char on them... And I like char, so they were definitely way over but tasted pretty good anyhow. Server was very polite and attentive and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our visit. The decor is very basic- passable for a pub.
Walked in an hour and a half before closing and was told the kitchen was closed and we wouldn't be served. Great customer service. Good to see nothing has changed with new ownership. Plenty of people on the patio with food on their plates. First time trying to eat here and definitely won't be back. First impressions and all. The other review about being greeted with a sigh and eye roll is 100% correct.

My wife and I were eating here about three years ago. At that time I went, a well-earned, a star review. We heard this restaurant was under new ownership and we decided to give it back. Wow, what an improvement! I had the Beer Cheese Bacon Burger and my wife had the Fish Chips. Both were very good. Did I mention the great service? We will definitely repeat customers. Thank you. Excellent service (by Mathew) and delicious food. Would you like more dark beer options, but appreciated, given a few flavors, ended with ordering a cocktail. Every employee was great in communication that there was a little waiting for the food. I think 4 different employees have interacted with us and checked to make sure we take care. We're coming back!
Good was very good, we shared the jalapeno popper egg roll appetizer and it was very flavorful. I had the French dip which was very good, the fries were ok, lots of ends... My friend had the beer cheese bacon burger and he said it was very good! Portion sizes were very good, our server was very friendly and attentive.
Let's start by saying that I had high hopes for this place. With that being said the food was not the best, but they were very very busy so I will take that into consideration. Fish and chips were subpar, Mushroom and swiss burger was ok. Staff and service was good. Just my opinion.

For an $18 dollar burger it was lack luster. Everything was pretty expensive and the food was average. Great wait staff. You can find better burgers for cheaper in downtown Boise. You can get a view between the cars going by on the busy road though.
