I understand that Boise is thousands of miles from Mexico, but hasn't anyone in this town been to a good Mexican restaurant? This place is about as authentic and flavorful as Taco Bell. Chips and salsa were as tasty as anything you can buy in the supermarket and I could swear that the ingredients for my fajitas were flown in fresh from a refugee camp in Tijuana. I will give credit to the waitstaff for attentive service. And the dining room was basic but clean. If you're looking for a good alternative to McDonald's with table service you've come to the right place.
It was very good, as far as the food goes. The service was incredible! They did a wonderful job, very skilled service. The atmosphere is ok, Garden City still has a ways to go to be considered nice, IMO. Would try this place again though. I got the chicken enchiladas dinner! So delicious. The staff were amazing! They were kind and helpful. Food is always great when I've gone here. It's consistently busy. I highly recommend the Chimichanga, Enchilada, Burrito, and Carne Asada. Plus, there's plenty of parking available!

Pretty restaurant, feels cozy. Friendly staff and the food was really high quality for the price. Had the lunch fajitas and the steak was juicy and tender, seasoned well and not overcooked. An excellent lunch experience, thanks Barrigas!

My boss brought me burritos carnitas today for lunch. It was probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. It was absolutely excellent. I would definitely recommend Barrigas to anyone.

Delicious food, super clean restaurant, great server. We had the carne asada burrito huge and the chirrasco. Both delicious. Arrived fresh and nice and hot. Yum yum.
