I arrived at the restaurant at exactly 2:59 PM and placed my order at 3:00 PM, expecting to receive the lunch special. However, I was charged for a full-price dinner meal. I recommend opting for the lunch special when dining here, as the dinner portions are small and the baked chicken was dry. Despite being a regular customer, I was disappointed by the high prices and unfriendly service. The drink I purchased was not cold and seemed to be at room temperature. While the owners are kind, the unfriendly staff can be off-putting to customers. Overall, if you are in South Nashville and looking for soul food, this restaurant is your best option. Otherwise, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
we went to dinner at the weekend. I just wanted a good soul food. they are overpriced. we ordered a turkey wing dinner that came with side and brot. for one truthahn wing is a bit much. the sweet is not tasteful at all. the only thing I enjoyed was that meat. We were very disappointed.
The menu advertised "Fried Barbecue Chicken 2 Pieces," but what arrived was not fried and appeared to be soaked in a sauce rather than barbecued. The chicken was tender, but I only received one drumstick. The collard greens had mostly stems, but the sweet potatoes were delicious.
Yum! I recently moved to Nashville and honestly have been struggling to find delicious food. This hit the spot! Delivery was fast and the food was super flavorful! I had the catfish, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and dressing all of which I would order again.

Better off going to Popeyes. Not pleased at all for the money we spent. And if someone asked for a specific thing off their meal , it’s probably due to a food allergy. Chicken wings, are whole wings not party wings. Food was too sweet! Not pleased at all.
I ordered this place through Postmates and was like WHAT THE HELL. I didn’t know chicken could taste that good or be that tender. The sides were amazing! The only thing I would change is make that spaghetti less sweet ?
omg the food was delicious. I've got kale, sweet potatoes, smashed chicken. I loved it, remembered my grandmother. try it out and everyone was super friendly.
The fried chicken I had was awesome. I was hungry and needed something good after being out in the heat and it hit the spot. Thanks!
