The Basil - Réservation de table

Was taken to lunch here last Wednesday as a surprise from my friend. It was so pretty inside. I ordered the spicy bbq chicken. It came with rice, salad, added a spring roll and sweet n sour won ton chip as well. The chicken was cooked perfect. A light crispy crust. The spicy bbq sauce aka spicy sweet n sour sauce. It was really great. Only complaint is they did not dress my salad with the peanut sauce. It was just dry lettuce and tomato. OOopps. My friend got the veggie green curry and I tasted the broth. My dish was a special pork dish. The vegetables and sides were perfectly done and sized. It was all absolutely delicious. Our server was delightful. Altogether, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a special meal in Carson City. I have since returned 4 times and each time I try something different. Absolutely everything I eat is fantastic. The servers are always accommodating and very pleasant. One of my absolute favorites in Carson City. Actually better than several Thai restaurants in Portland Oregon. Go, you'll love it! Absolutely beautiful decor decorated by the owner herself. With the best tasting Thai food I have ever experienced! This is a family owned restaurant who truly cares for their city and it’s people! Everything you experience here is full of love and care for their guests coming to dine with them. They have the sweetest, most knowledgeable staff! A truly memorable experience! We will be definitely coming back to eat every time we come back to visit Carson City! Oh You must get the sea bass special with the green curry sauce. It’s outstanding!

We were so excited to try a new Thai place. They have a fresh mango roll that sounded delicious. There was rotten lettuce in it. So disappointed. When I called to tell them, they refused to believe that this could happen. I guess we will have to try a different place next time. Too bad that so few people take pride in their work anymore. Just what I wanted and just when I needed it. The weather turned a little cooler and I was looking for a nice bowl of soup. That's when Thai food shines. I was greeted warmly at the door and taken to a table. The food and service continued to impress me as did the serene surroundings. Highly recommended.

We are in vacation in Reno and Tahoe and visited Basil restaurant. It was the best Thai food we ever had. The service also an excellent service. Recommend this restaurant to anyone local or visitor. Réservez une table maintenant
