Basilico Ristorante

Based on the most of the ratings we decided to have our child's communion here, only to find this was our worst experience of any restaurant in Woodbridge! Met with the Owner Mauricio, not a friendly person at all doesn't even crack a smile! Right off the bat he stated not able to provide a main course choice for our guests nor would the pizza oven be used that day (Sunday.) So we decided on a menu with a main course that would suit everyone, Rack of Lamb

The service was great. The server was kind, helpful and warm. However, the meals were hit and miss. My one friend had ordered the Arctic char special and the fish was definitely off. She sent it back and the immediately apologized which was good, but the calamari which she replaced it with was average. My penne a la vodka was just okay tasting like the tomato sauce came out of a jar. My other friend had a mushroom risotto though.

I took a few clients to Basilico for dinner. The food was bland in taste and the fish plates we ordered were dry in texture. This was not the same restaurant I had frequented several years ago

We enjoyed a pleasant family dinner of delicious Italian cuisine. The server was efficient and enthusiastic. I had the seafood risotto with a nice flavour and generous serving.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! I had the chicken breast in exotic mushroom sauce and it was amazing.
