Basil's Flame Broiled Chicken

I read some good reviews about Basil's and have always wanted to try the chicken. I finally convinced my wife to accompany me there for dinner.The first sign of upcoming disappointment was the lack of people in the establishment, the next was mounds of cooked chicken just waiting on the grill.My wife ordered a three piece chicken meal with corn and macaroni cheese for the sides. I ordered the half chicken meal with Spanish rice and fresh vegetables for my sides. The main host was very friendly and explained all of the menu choices. I’ve had this place before and it was decent. I’ve had flame broiled before and there’s a difference between broiled and burnt. The wings looked like someone took a torch to them and threw it in a box. I work at a restaurant and my wife owns one. It’s crazy how some think this is great quality but never again.

We wanted a quick bite so since we were near by, we stopped and got one of the lunch specials.Food was tasty with reasonable size servings.No waiting to get served...which we liked,We ordered at the counter, sat and watch big screen TV and we were on our way...No hassles...works for me!c

The chef at this restaurant makes inappropriate advances towards and leers at every woman who enters. It seems like this person belongs on a wanted list. The restaurant is in poor condition and the food is flavorless and awful. Réservez une table maintenant

If you enjoy meat that falls off the bone, this restaurant is perfect for you. The meat is incredibly delicious and tender, and the sauce is so good that you may want to request a small cup of it for dipping.

The cook harassed every woman who walked in there. He is a creeper and needs to be fired. Horrible pervert. Food was terrible and atmosphere disgusting.

The chicken was very dry and I ordered the 3-piece dark meat but received two dark pieces and one white. Sorry, but a wing is not considered dark meat. Réservez une table maintenant

Healthy, fast, reasonably priced and the owner seems to live at the restaurant. Respect for the work ethic I see at Basil's!
