it was a meal. I loved all my previous experiences at their location in west island. it was my first time in her city. it was a Saturday night after an event in the bell center. we arrived at 945. the restaurant was almost empty, 2 tables of about 6 guests and a few. most employees sat and chat in a stand at the end of the restaurant near the kitchen. They seemed upset when we arrived. it was my hope to extend my evening with my mother after the bell center show for her birthday. she ordered a French wobbles soup and pommes, and I ordered a prime rib (which is always my way to cut at her other place.) my mother had commented that the fact that mozzarella cheese was used would knock the chees...
terrible experience pre-Event in montreal. left before food orders were completed. three server do not know what the other still claims to work as a team. 20 minutes are waiting for a soft drink and a wee to arrive, not. Rude servers that each hand over to another without doing anything. was not even busy at 4:45. left and no one even wanted to ask why. baton rude.
Lots of wait staff, no staff team work: NOT MUCH SERVICE. Food was in a word- awful. BLT was dry and stale. CHICKEN caesar salad was a big fat zero. the meal was a total waste of time and money...WHEN YOU LEAVE A RESTAURANT HUNGRY, YOU KNOW YOU'VE BEEN TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS !!!

Ribs are worth trying and these are the speciality of the house. Also not too expensive. Filet mignon is huge and more plane. Good cheesecake with white chocolate mousse. Take the smaller portions on the menu,and even such will be too much!
Baton Rouge called me at 4pm to inform me that they no longer accept reservations made through Open Table. Can you please confirm if this is accurate? This unexpected news left me scrambling to find another reservation on very short notice.
I had a meal with my coworkers. The Santa Fe chicken I chose was well presented and delicious. However, the restaurant is in need of a renovation. There are several bench seats with torn leather.
