Update: I limped over this morning, ready to do battle or change rooms. However, the 2 receptionists there actually knew their business and were very pleasant. No issues, problem solved. Ratings changed accordingly. THANK YOU. We will return to the hotel in the future. Recommend. Background: I had reservations for 2 nights, but inadvertently they were under 2 reservations. I showed up early to talk to the lobby to merge the two so that I wouldn't have to check-out at noon, then check back in at 3pm. The person assured me that it would be taken cared of and that he would call me when my room was ready. So far so good... Later, after not receiving any calls, I went back to the lobby, waited, until close to 3pm, checked in, asked about the 2nd night, and was told I did not have a reservation for the 2nd night. I showed proof, then the person said to come check out at 1200 and check back in at 3pm. No guarantees. So I wasted hours talking to the first person, waiting for calls, etc. all for something that is common sense: Customers that stay for 2 nights ought to be able to stay in the same room and not have to check out, then check back in 3 hrs later.
