I have been to quite a few Korean restaurants and would rate this as average. The menu is authentic, so more exotic' dishes than you'd find on other menus, but taste wise they could do better. You'll find lots of Koreans in there and some...of the waitresses don't speak any German or English. A la carte is quite pricey for what you get, while the weekend buffet is good value as it's a good opportunity to sample many different dishes. Vegetarian choices sadly are limited mainly Bi Bim Bap, which is not too bad a thing. They are very child friendly and the kids are given colouring placemats.
as a single traveler. the room was very clean and well equipped. a water cooker is provided, but no tea or coffee. the Korean restaurant. eating was ok, although very disappointing that a single traveler cannot order a grill. only available for 2 people and...up really discuss. I had the bulgogi, but as a stew, okay, but I want it on a grill with leaves, garlic and sosse not as a stew. I don't understand why restaurant can't operate with the same courtesy as couples travelling alone. the breakfast was okay. nothing to come back.
The best thing about Batzenhaus is the Saturday buffet. I have been here for many work dinners (and never personally paid for this) and the food outside of the buffet is very expensive for Korean food. The buffet offers the best of authentic Korean food...with a great variety that is restocked frequently. It also means that you can try a selection of new foods to expand your knowledge in Korean cuisine. I personally love it and take friends there often. The staff are friendly and the buffet at EUR 15 cannot be missed!
Batzenhaus was a former German restaurant and serves now as a Korean restaurant. Food is quite authentic (many Korean expats having dinner). Atmosphere is not Korean as it was a traditional German restaurant and the interior was hardly changed. It has own parking lots and...and easy to find (directly at the main road).

the restaurant is a fairly decent Korean restaurant with many options. we had traditional Korean rice cake soup to celebrate the new moon. it doesn't seem like it's easy to go there with public transport as we drove with the car. the service is beautiful and very accommodating.
typical German environment all wood and a name like batzenhaus would never imagine big Korean cuisine here. there is a new cook in the house and its very traditional kitchen with a Japanese influence. many Korean guests we go back.
I went twice and in both cases the bark had Korean pancakes and mochi. server davide was amazing. others are also very helpful, even if we do not speak the same language.
